Gulfstream Aerospace has been granted a production certificate (PC) from the FAA for its ultra-long-range G700 jet, following an in-depth audit of its engineering and manufacturing systems. This milestone comes after the recent FAA type certification, underscoring the G700 program’s comprehensive development. The aircraft boasts a pioneering cabin air purification system and the lowest cabin altitude in the industry at 41,000 feet.
Additionally, Gulfstream has extended the G700’s range to 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85.
Pilot training is underway at FlightSafety International, as Gulfstream prepares for the first deliveries to customers.
